Emperors' Treasures

Design for Emperors’ Treasures: Chinese Art from the National Palace Museum, Taipei at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco. The project consisted of design for fifteen didactic panels, more than 100 labels, and a slide show on ceramics. The challenges were to use the color scheme selected by the curators in a tasteful way, to create maps for the four featured dynasties, and finally, highlighting the second copy of the didactic text in Chinese without cluttering the panels.
